Product Description
Free shipping! This putter series completes the IWD range, the stunning new collection for 2010. The result of vast amounts of R&D and improvements, this range is on the cutting edge. IW4 model, available in right and left hand, is the most sophisticated of all. Wide flares increase the MOI higher still, and the reduction of 'visual noise' helps the golfer concentrate. Flares also help golfer line up as accurately as possible. Unique design makes it very easy to scoop ball off the ground or out of the cup. Matching IWD head cover included One year manufacturer warranty. Brand New.

5 out of 5 stars Great putter ! Great Price!   June 15, 2010

I love the putter. It's got a good weight to it and is very balanced. It only took a couple of days to get used to and I find the lines very helpful in the putting stroke. A great buy for the price.

5 out of 5 stars Forgan IWD IV Putter   June 4, 2010

I've played off and on for several years with several boxed sets of clubs, like Affinity, and I like those sets. My team at work won the fall golf scramble and I wanted a good set of clubs, above the $150 boxed sets, for the spring scramble. I was looking to spend around $350 for a set. After much research, I decided on the Forgan IWD series. I bought this putter, the IWD irons, and the IWD 9 degree driver. Like the other reviewer said, the sight lines are amazingly useful. They are probably the best I've seen and used. Line up is easy with this putter and the feel is solid with good reaction at impact. The included cover is nice, but cumbersome in my opinion. Definitely one of those that hit the basket on the first hole and stay there until the end of the day. The horns on the back work well for picking up your ball, but I was unable to use them to remove the ball from the hole as the description states it's capable of. The pictures the other reviewer posted are great, but still didn't prepare me for how awesome or unconventional this putter looks. When I pulled it out of the bag, the rest of my foursome looked at me like I was producing alien technology what with it's weird lines and green/black color with matching grip. But after a few holes with some righteous putts, they came around. This club definitely does something for your confidence with it's "You won't screw this up" sighting system and I'm actually quite pleased with it.

5 out of 5 stars Good feel, unique form factor, great line at address   January 24, 2010

I got this putter based mostly on how it looked, since I didn't get the chance to try it out before purchasing. I figured if it wasn't good, I'd try a different putter, but I was looking for a new mallet-style putter with good sight lines and a heavy feel, and this one looked like it meant business. I love the feel, it's quite heavy but you still get relatively good feedback on it. It has great sight lines along the top, so you can be sure you've got the right line for your putt. Overall, I think this club is a great confidence-booster and, hopefully, just as good a performance-booster.

Oh, and a minor note: When I opened the box that the club came in, I was a bit surprised that the club did not look "brand spankin' new" without any stickers or tags or anything, just plastic wrap over the club head. However, after close inspection, it appears this club was never used at all.

UPDATE: Been using this putter for a month now, played 3 rounds with it, and I'm really happy. It's saving me strokes. It has a lot of feedback, I think, for a mallet putter, but still a strong punch. Makes a beautiful "tink" sound upon impact. The ionized black finish is wearing down in some areas around the edge, so if that's going to be something that bothers you, take it into consideration. Doesn't bother me, since the club still hits just as well.
