Because carbon is 75% lighter than titanium, 20-grams of saved weight can be shifted lower and deeper in the sole area for a higher launch angle with less spin. Creating a pinpoint weighting system, the weight not only sits deeper in the sole, but is also shifted toward the heel or the toe, depending on player preference.
